The series
A detective franchise, built for the world.
A rabbit detective and his hedgehog assistant solve case after case from their office at Knight Street No.9, unraveling the mysteries of animal society one client at a time.
Produced by StarTrail in co-production with the China International Communications Group (CICG), Knight Street No.9 adapts an existing audio-drama property into a visual detective world. The production gives the recurring characters a screen presence, a shared setting and an English-language presentation for international discussion.
The AI craft
From character design to a moving scene.
The trailer and character designs below offer two views of the project: the intended character identity and its translation into performance, staging and editing. StarTrail uses an AI-assisted animation workflow; the series remains in production.
What partners can review
Compare the lead characters in the designs and trailer. Look at silhouettes, expressions, interaction, shot transitions and the clarity of the detective story. The English dub demonstrates one language presentation of the project.
What a new brief needs
For another property, agree the audience, character references, intended format and a representative sequence. Voice recording, localization, sound and final delivery specifications should be scoped for that project.
