What we take on
Three kinds of commissioned work.
Everything below ran on the same proprietary AI pipeline, staffed by the same supervisors, and delivered to the client's specification. How the pipeline works →
Human dubbing is available for a more genuine emotional touch.
Film visual effects
Scene reconstruction, digital-human performance and fully virtualized environments for theatrical features. Shots that have to survive a cinema screen and a close-up.
Animation for IP owners
Series and episodic animation produced on behalf of the rights holder, in 3D or webtoon-native 2D, held on-model across every episode. The property stays theirs.
AI live action
AI live action produced end to end, cast and performed in the target language, for markets where shooting conventionally would never clear the budget.
Film Visual Effects · Theatrical Feature
No Other Love: nine shots the audience could never tell were AI.
A commissioned VFX engagement on a feature that went out to cinemas, and the clearest test our pipeline has faced.
The brief covered the hardest categories in the film: character reconstruction, digital-human performance, and environments rebuilt from nothing.
Several ran close to a full minute, carrying dialogue and close-ups. Holding a performance and a face together across that much screen time, at theatrical resolution, is the bar our performance system was built to clear.
No Other Love is reported to be the first AI-assisted feature to earn a national theatrical public-release permit. Full case study →
The film: directed by Yuan Mei, written and produced by Li Qiang, adapted from Ingrid Noll's novel Der Hahn ist tot. 119 minutes, released in cinemas in March 2026. Listed on TMDB and Letterboxd.
Original footage against StarTrail's AI reconstruction, 1 min 9 s.
A face in close-up is the hardest thing we do. It is not the only thing.
Face replacement
Digital doubles and performance transfer, held believably through dialogue and close-ups.
Environments and set extension
A location rebuilt or replaced outright. A parked truck becomes a cliff face, a back lot becomes a coastline.
Effects simulation
Water, fire, smoke, weather and destruction: the passes behind a flood, a storm or a collapse.
Series Animation · Produced for Rights Holders
We animate other people's characters.
Publishers, comics platforms and brand owners come to us with a property that already has an audience and no screen version. We build the screen version. Authorship, copyright and merchandising rights never leave the owner.
Premium animation lives and dies on continuity: a character has to read as the same character from the first frame of a season to the last.
That is the part conventional studios price highest and the part our pipeline is built around. We work in both registers, cinematic 3D for kids and family, and webtoon-native 2D that keeps the line, colour and comic timing of the original panels. Cast design happens in-house before a shot moves, so an owner can approve it against their own canon first.
Kids & family, 3DCinematic series animation built around an existing character property.
Heritage fantasy, 2DWebtoon adaptation keeping the original line and colour treatment.
Action fantasy, 2DMale-audience serialized adaptation, vertical and scroll-native.

AI Live Action · Drama for Any Market
AI live action, vertical or landscape.
Fully AI-generated live action: real faces, real performances, real locations, none of which had to be booked. It plays strongest in the genres conventional production finds most expensive.
Science fiction, period and fantasy are the natural fit.
A future city, a dynastic palace, a battlefield: shot conventionally each is a set build, a location unit and a visual effects bill before a frame is exposed. Produced this way they are part of the shot, which puts genre material that would never clear a budget back in reach.
Work that would need months of construction, travel and post lands in weeks, at a fraction of a conventional budget. The same line covers commercials and brand films. See our original live-action work →

How we engage
Three ways in.
By the shot
A defined shot list on an existing production. We take plates or a brief and slot into your post schedule. This is how No Other Love ran.
By the minute
Episodic animation at a contracted rate per finished minute, on an agreed art direction and a locked character bible. Suits an owner who wants volume without standing up a studio.
Full production
Script through final grade, including casting, performance, environments, music and sound. You approve at agreed gates and take the master.
Every engagement runs under a confidentiality agreement covering the property, the terms and the fact of the work itself, unless you would rather we talk about it.
Have a property, a shot list, or a market to test?
Send us the brief. We will come back with an approach, a schedule and a number.
