Most AI video breaks where it matters most — a character who won't stay themselves. Holding one identity across hundreds of shots is the whole game.

Watch enough AI video and you start to see the same failure, over and over. The images are gorgeous. The motion is smooth. And the character — the one you're supposed to care about — is subtly a different person in every shot. The face wanders a few percent between cuts. The hair changes weight. The proportions drift. You may not be able to name it, but you feel it: the character stops being a person and becomes a smear of similar-looking people.

That single problem — character consistency — is, in our view, the real moat in AI filmmaking. Not image quality. Not resolution. Identity.

Why a wandering face is fatal

A beautiful, inconsistent clip is a fine demo and a useless film. The whole contract of narrative is that the audience bonds with a specific person and follows them. Break the specificity and you break the bond. In a six-second clip you can get away with it. Across a ninety-minute film — or a multi-episode series — you cannot.

And it's not just an aesthetic issue. It's an economic one. You cannot build a franchise on a face that won't stay still.
