Reimagining How Humanity Tells Space Stories with AI

Space has always been one of the hardest things to visualize. We partnered with the China Aerospace International Exchange Center to change how those stories get built

Let's get one thing straight first: space content has always been one of the hardest things to visualize. It's massive, complex, and heavily dependent on imagination — and traditional film production simply can't keep up with the speed of that imagination.

At “Symphony of the Cosmos: 2026 Space Culture Night” in Chengdu, StarTrail signed a partnership with the China Aerospace International Exchange Center. This collaboration isn't about “making a show.” It's about rethinking how space narratives are built with AIGC.

Human Civilization 2.0

Together we're developing an AIGC concept project called Human Civilization 2.0. It isn't a traditional film or series — it's an expandable IP experiment system. Aerospace institutions provide the scientific data and historical frameworks; AIGC turns them into visual worlds.

From concept art to storyboards to motion previews, the entire pipeline is redefined by AI. We use our in-house StarTrail Phoenix AI™ system to rapidly turn written concepts into visual output — which doesn't just improve efficiency, it changes the way creation itself works.

IP as a parallel, expandable system

One key shift: IP is no longer a linear product. It becomes a parallel, expandable content system, where the same universe can generate films, animation, short-form content, and interactive experiences simultaneously — rather than one adaptation at a time. (This is the same industrial approach behind our production stack.)

In the teaser PV, we explored a simple question: what is the role of humans when AI starts participating in decision-making? The answer isn't complicated — AI handles structure; humans stay responsible for judgment.

Space stories belong to global culture

Space has always represented humanity's ultimate exploration of the unknown, and AIGC is a new medium that makes this exploration visible faster than ever. Space stories don't belong only to science — they belong to global culture, and AI is becoming one of the gateways that carries them to the world.

This project is not just a technology showcase. It's an experiment in how future content production might work — and, more than that, in how IP itself is built, expanded, and distributed in the AI era. This is only the beginning.

StarTrail is an AI-native content studio producing AI live-action film & TV, AI animation, and AI commercials, built on its proprietary StarTrail Phoenix AI™ production stack. Its work has been recognized at the iQIYI Nadou AIGC Venture Summit, the Beijing International Film Festival, and the AAFF International Ark AI Film Festival. Learn more at startrailai.com.
